When does the Sanitation Department pick up branches and yard waste?

The sanitation department picks up boulevard leaf piles and yard waste for approximately 2 - 3 weeks each spring and fall. Small branches are picked up throughout the year at your regular garbage pick up location provided they are bundled and are less than 5 feet long.
