Electronics, Hazardous Waste & Other Items

City Sanitation WILL pick up the following electronics:

EACH ITEM REQUIRES ONE ORANGE STICKER

• Televisions
• Microwaves
• Computer Monitors
• Refrigerators
• Air Conditioners
• Freezers

The City Sanitation department will pick up appliances with freon and recover the freon for City residents with their normal garbage pickup. Large appliances are picked up on Wednesdays. An orange sticker must be attached to each appliance. 

The City Sanitation Department does not pick up any household hazardous waste. Household hazardous waste such as paint or paint products, solvents, cleaners, pesticides, petroleum-based products, fluorescent bulbs & ballasts, car batteries or other items which have a warning label on them, are accepted at Les's Sanitation located at 1345 Hwy 32 South from 8:00 to 12:00 & 1:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday, except for major holidays.
