LEAF-VAC SERVICE

The City  vacuums leaf piles in the spring as soon as the weather permits, and in the fall, usually the first part of October.  

Pickup schedule is Ward One Mondays, Ward Two on Tuesdays, Ward Three on Wednesdays, Ward Four on Thursdays, and Ward Five on Fridays.  This service is for City Residents only.  Residents are reminded to pile leaves on the boulevards of avenues only.  Leaves will not be picked up from the street side of corner lots.  Do not pile leaves with other debris and please keep piles away from light poles, mailboxes, fire hydrants, parked vehicles, etc.  Leaves should be piled on the boulevard and not in the road, to avoid clogging the storm sewers.  Specific schedules for the spring and fall pickups are announced at that time.
