Purpose:

The purpose of the Engineering Technical Services Department is to provide technical services to all City Departments, assist the City's engineer and consultants with specific improvement project engineering services, and provide assistance to the general public.

Functions:

• Generate project feasibility reports.

• Develop project budgets and administer funding.

• Assist consultants with preparation of construction contract documents.

• Accomplish project preliminary and as-built surveys.

• Perform construction project management services.

• Maintain construction project files and records.

• Update the City's infrastructure system maps.

• Assist the general public with drainage, property and infrastructure concerns.
